About the Author
The author was born in New York to two huge, wonderful nerds. She has a BS in Chemistry and PhD in Biochemistry. She is currently raising her young daughter and is intent on (...eventually) proving that leaving work as a scientist for a few years won't kill your career. She started The Baby Biochemist book series and blog to help increase the next generation's love and literacy of science. In her free time, she enjoys soap making, options trading, and discussing the origins and future of life on Earth.
