Isla Ashanti Anderson, better known and Shanti, lives the life that every young woman dreams about. She has the luxury condo in Bal Harbour Florida, the designer clothes and handbags, and plenty of money at her disposal. However, all of these luxuries fall under the strict supervision of her neglectful mother and her overbearing father. Through her poetry and special love interest, Assistant Pastor Joshua Kendrim, her situation has grown tolerable, but not for long. Determined to gain her independence, and against her better judgment Shanti takes Josh up on an offer that's bound to bring in the cash flow. He introduces her to Blake who happens to be a well-known businessman in Miami. Blake introduces himself to Shanti as if he's in the trading business and entices Shanti to come aboard.
