Michelle Shreeve

Michelle Shreeve has been a published writer since 2008. Her love for books, movies, and fictional characters eventually spilled into her writing, which is how she also started writing movie reviews, book reviews, and an advice column. Parental Death: The Ultimate Teen Guide, published by Rowman & Littlefield as a part of the It Happened To Me series, is Michelle's debut book, in which she revisits the death of her own mother at a young age to try and help teens who are currently coping with the death of one or both of their parents. Michelle has two undergraduate degrees in psychology, and she also has two master's degrees in English and creative writing. Her thesis project focused on how bibliotherapy and writing therapy can help kids and teens cope with the death of a parent.
