About the Author
Hey there! I write about monsters, magic, and other quirky things. I've wanted to be an author since I attended a "Young Authors' Day" in elementary school. I worked and wrote and chased after my dream and now I get to share my stories with you! I love reading, drawing, and playing board and role-playing games. I live in the mountains of West Virginia with my wife, Jess Rinker (also a children's author) and our dog, Pepper. I am a former Army airborne officer and have both my MA in Writing and my MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults. I'm represented by Jennifer Soloway of Andrea Brown Literary Agency.
