Elise Hurst is a writer, fine artist and illustrator specialising in a vintage alternate reality peopled by (amongst others) lions and tigers and bears. Although she most frequently creates picture books, her work has featured in situations as varied as book covers and illustrated novels, to cards and prints, cd covers, chocolates and an imaginative advertising campaign.
