I have been writing for years and in 2014 I learned how to use Kindle Direct Publishing and put some of my writings out there. Success as a writer for me today would be described as earning enough from writing to be able to drop down to part time hours at work, so I'd have more time to write. Writing has started to become the only thing I want to do now, besides Reading! I'm becoming single minded in the drive to write. I feel I've done my time with all the stuff: You Have To Do, and want to start doing: What I Want To Do. Today it is necessary to learn and keep up to date with the new technology involved in writing, publishing and marketing your writings. I've been slower than most in learning the technology stuff. I used to type on a typewriter! That's how long I've been at it. So now I'm taking time away from writing to actually learn all these things, like setting up an Author Page. Once I'm quick at it I'll be putting out more of my stock piled writings. I've written Mysteries, Romances, Children's Stories, Young adult and am currently working on a Science Fantasy series. If you are interested, you can check me out by the middle of January 2017 on "Write On" where I will be posting a full length novel about a group of people called: The Community Players. It's a story that I need some help with editing and hope to get it from the members of that website.
