He's half man and half bull. She's half woman and half lava. Their lives are about to collide. Carl Gray was a rodeo clown before he was fused by lightning with a bull named El Diablo. He became a half-bull, half-man superhero, complete with horns and a tail. Lavender is a native islander - her mother is lava and her father is human. As a half-human, she can read their minds. As a half-lava creature, she can change her shape and her temperature at will - and she's definitely one red-hot young lady! When Lavender learns about the half-bull, half man, she must have him! She heads to Arizona to meet Carl, who uses his superhero powers to help humankind. But mostly he drinks way too much. Lavender offers to become his girlfriend, but he's got to clean up his act - she also insists he start charging fees for his superhero services.

Night Run: The fifth Jim Knighthorse novel will begin in the Spring!
Blood Moon: The second book in the Samantha Moon Case Files (a side series written with Rod Kierkegaard) , will now wrap up the New Orleans story arc (it had originally been projected to be a trilogy) . Rod and I are working hard on this one. So, so close!
New Moon Rising: The first book in Samantha Moon's origin story has begun!! I'm writing this with author, April Reign, and this should be a wicked fun new series that fills in the gaps from when Sam was first attacked to the beginning of Moon Dance, a gap of about six years.
The Witch and the Wolfman: The fourth novel in the Allison Lopez "Witches Series" will begin as soon as Rod and I finish up work on Blood Moon!
Silver Light: Yes, I just started a new book. She's a private eye. And a mermaid. What can I say, I've been wanting to tell her tale (tail? ) for a while now!
