About the Author
Charles David Summers was born in Bullitt County, KY. A graduate of Bellarmine University, with advanced degrees from Western Kentucky, Mr. Summers taught school for twenty-seven years. His historical fiction books are helped by his love of history. He is happily married and the father of two adult children. Now retired, Mr. Summers enjoys writing, reading, painting in oils (more than one hundred canvases) , playing chess, and travel.
