Roy Fares

Roy Fares kom från Libanon till Örebro som sexåring. I dag är han inte bara erkänd konditor utan även jurymedlem i tv-programmet Dessertmästarna och uppskattad medverkande i TV4:s Mitt kok. 2010 blev han Årets konditor, den storsta tävlingen for professionella konditorer i Sverige. 2012 kom hans forsta kokbok, Sweet!, ut. Med den vann han Måltidsakademins pris i dessertklassen. Hans andra bok ut, United states of cakes, kom ut 2013, och den har också givits ut i Norge, Tyskland och USA. United States of Cakes utsågs 2014 till världens bästa kokbok i kategorin "amerikansk mat" i Gourmand World Cookbook Awards. Därefter har Delicious och Sweet spots of New York kommit ut.
