About the Author
Miriam Spitzer Franklin has been sharing her love of reading and writing with students for years as an elementary and middle school teacher. She currently teaches language arts to middle school students. She is an animal lover and vegetarian who stands up for environmental issues. Her hobbies include figure skating and coaching her daughter's Odyssey of the Mind team. Miriam lives with her husband, two daughters, and two pampered cats in Charlotte, North Carolina.Miriam loves writing middle grade novels.
