About the Author

Anna Conrad

Anna Conrad (1967-Present) was born in Los Angeles, CA. She lived up and down the California coast until age 11 when she moved to Elizabethton, TN with her parents. Anna's formal education includes degrees in chemistry, business and marketing and education in culinary arts. As an adult, Anna worked for a Fortune 500 company for 22 years traveling the globe facilitating technical, sales, marketing and human nature training before leaving to pursue a culinary career. Anna experienced foods in the places of their origin and received her culinary training in Thailand. She began her cooking experience at age 3 with her hispanic mother. She enjoyed strong multicultural influences in cooking with her mother's Spanish and Mexican heritage, her French grandmother and Italian mother in-law, in addition to her world travels. She founded Chef Anna in 2010, Ideal Mealz in 2011 and published her first diet book, The Paleolithic Diet, in 2011. She authored the HCG Diet Recipes book in 2012.
