Meta Herrick Carlson (she/her/hers) is a gifted poet and empathetic pastor living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She serves a two campus congregation that used to be two totally separate churches with different histories and styles. This ministry is challenging and exciting because they are letting go and leaning in for the sake of a shared future. Meta is passionate about cultivating leadership, healthy systems and preaching that move us toward mercy and justice.She married a person named Matt who fixes things she breaks and waters all the plants. And he has dimples. She starts each day with a cup of coffee and a Flintstones chewable vitamin. Their three kids are loud, sticky, and fiercely loved.
