About this item

Funny and at times tragic. We follow along as the de Jong family runs their dairy milk farm in Alphen a/d Ryn, Holland, through the depression, World War II and the post war economic collapse. This is the true story of how they persevered and showed their resilience while their ever growing family struggled through the depression and the German occupation of Holland during World War II, utilizing the Black Market to feed and care for their large family.
