About the Author
I love writing children's books for the trade and educational markets! I'm currently a graduate student in children's literature curriculum and instruction at Penn State University's College of Education, and I also hold master's degrees from Cornell University. I'm a Cybils Award nonfiction judge and an active member of the Society of Children's Book Authors and Illustrators (SCBWI) . I live in the Boston, Massachusetts area with my husband, three children, and a dog and cat who are roughly the same size. I own WAY too many children's books to count!
