About the Author

Lisa M. Bolt Simons

Lisa M. Bolt Simons started writing young: letters to her grandparents and the tooth fairy. She's published more than 40 children's nonfiction books, four middle grade "choose your path" novels, and the adult history book, FARIBAULT WOOLEN MILL: LOOMED IN THE LAND OF LAKES. More books are forthcoming, and she's working on several projects. Both her nonfiction and fiction have been recognized with grants and awards. Lisa recently retired from education after 25 years in the field. In her spare time, she loves to read and scrapbook. She wishes she could travel more--long bucket list. Originally from Colorado, Lisa lives in Minnesota with her husband. Her science- and math-minded girl/boy twins are off writing new chapters of their lives. Learn more at lisamboltsimons.com.
