About the Author
Akemi is a messenger with rare clarity. People of all walks of life, whether they consider themselves as spiritual or not, are attracted to her easy-to-understand, unpretentious, and nonjudgmental words. She is soft-spoken yet unafraid to point out the various spiritual myths such as "Life is a school" or the "original sin." She is naturally psychic (as we all are) and offered her insightful Akashic Record Reading until she decided to assist people through her writing instead.
Her first book, WHY WE ARE BORN, is intended to dispel fear and shame based spirituality. She then turned to writing novels to illustrate how the principles work in life. Her first novel, I REMEMBER YOU, is about three souls reincarnating to meet one another over and over--in love and misunderstanding. Her second novel, LUKE, is about genuine but socially-forbidden love.
She is originally from Japan and has been living in the United States since 1995. She is proud of her multicultural background, which supports her ability to communicate with a wide range of people worldwide. She leads a quiet, private life near Portland, Oregon.
