"Well-written and fast-paced, . . .Spillers tells his exciting story with style, grace, wit, introspection, and compassion. While the book details the often ruthless criminals and the crimes that Spillers encountered, he neither panders to his readers, nor glamorizes the criminal life. . . . The book will appeal to a wide audience, especially those who like true crime stories . . . ." MS Library Association review.
