Jeff Birkby lives in Missoula, Montana, where he consults on geothermal energy projects and assists hot springs resort owners on design and marketing.Jeff's passion for Montana's thermal waters began in the 1980s when he first started working as a geothermal energy specialist for the state of Montana's energy office. He is an experienced speaker and the author of several books about hot springs, including "Touring Montana and Wyoming Hot Springs," "Touring Oregon and Washington Hot Springs," and "Images of America--Montana Hot Springs." He also is the author of "Geothermal Energy in Montana--A Consumer's Guide."Jeff is a past member of the Humanities Montana Speakers' Bureau, and currently lectures around the state of Montana as well as nationally on a variety of hot springs topics.
