Bob Halloran

I'm a TV news and sports anchor at the ABC affiliate in Boston, and I've written several books. My latest, "White Devil", will be available January 12, 2016. It's the amazing true story of the only white man to rise to the top of the Chinese mafia.
I've also written "Impact Statement: A Family's Fight for Justice Against Whitey Bulger, Stephen Flemmi and the FBI".
I also wrote "Irish Thunder: The Hard Life and Times of Micky Ward", for which I was hired to be a technical consultant for "The Fighter", the Oscar nominated movie about Micky starring Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale.
My other books are "Destiny Derailed" about the 2003 Boston Red Sox, "Breakdown", a "Friday Night Lights" kind of story from the inner city, and "The Fellowship of the No Longer Miserable".
My television career includes stops in Providence, Rhode Island, FOX-25 in Boston, and ESPN where I also wrote for ESPN.com.
I've won a New England Emmy Award for sportscasting, and have two honors from the Associated Press.
