Ken Dolan-Del Vecchio

Ken Dolan-Del Vecchio is a family therapist, author, speaker, and corporate health and wellness leader with 30 years' experience in the arena of personal, family, organizational and community empowerment. He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) , and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) . Ken earned his B.A. in biopsychology at Cornell University and Master of Social Work (MSW) at Hunter College of the City University of New York. He completed his post-graduate training in family therapy at The Multicultural Family Institute in Highland Park, New Jersey, where he now serves on the board of directors. The author of four books, including Simple Habits of Exceptional (But Not Perfect) Parents, The Pet Loss Companion: Healing Advice from Family Therapists Who Lead Pet Loss Groups, and Making Love, Playing Power: Men, Women, and the Rewards of Intimate Justice, Ken has also had numerous articles and text chapters published in the family therapy literature.Ken worked for 19 years at Prudential, serving as Vice President, Health and Wellness, and leading development and delivery of behavioral health services for the company's 20,000 U.S. employees, leadership consulting, and health-promoting events. Named Corporate Leader of the Year in 2016 by the National Alliance on Mental Illness' NYC-Metro Chapter, Ken is a nationally recognized expert on mental health and the workplace who has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Smart Money, Bloomberg, Ignites, Fox Business News, Working Mother, HR Executive, and other media. His team's work led to Prudential's receipt of the American Psychological Association's 2017 Organizational Excellence award.
