Alex Woolf is an award-winning author of over 200 books, both fiction and non-fiction, for middle grade, YA and adults. His non-fiction encompasses a whole variety of subjects, from science and the natural world to politics and social issues, but his favourite subject is history. His 'History of the World' has sold over 100,000 copies in the English-speaking world and been translated into seven different languages since it first appeared in 2008.Alex is a regular author for Fiction Express, online publishers of interactive stories for schools.
