About the Author

Daniel Miyares

Daniel Miyares is an author and illustrator of stories for children.

He grew up in the foothills of South Carolina before studying illustration at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL. After graduation he headed West to Kansas City where he now lives with his wife and their two children

Since then he has collaborated with a number of clients including Hallmark Cards, Inc., Simon & Schuster, Charlesbridge Publishing, Imagine Books, National Geographic, Spider Magazine, Ladybug Magazine, and the Kansas City Star.

Daniel has illustrated the books "Bambino and Mr. Twain" and "Waking Up is Hard to Do". "Pardon Me!" was his first adventure as author/illustrator followed by the soon to be released "Float".
