Not exactly her reality, but Patience kept reading books that fed her dreams.Years later she moved to New York City and found her dream job, editing romances for Harlequin. Every day, her romantic fantasies came true—on the page. Patience was an expert when it came to fictional love stories—editing amazing books, she learned everything she could about the romance business.

About the Author

Patience Bloom

Patience Bloom was born a month late to avoid being a Gemini--and those pesky '68 student uprisings in Paris. The rest has been a whirlwind of catching up: learning the 3 Rs in Upstate New York, Connecticut high school (Latin is not dead!) , college in Ohio, teaching high school in New Mexico and a triumphant adult-relaunch in New York City, living on credit cards in a six-floor walk-up. Now she works as an editor at Harlequin, making books her biggest obsession aside from knitting, Duran Duran, super-bad reality television, and Anthropologie. In addition to devouring thrillers and romantic comedies, she also loves reading the latest celebrity memoir. At Harlequin, she works on a range of romances:from Christian romance to contemporary women's fiction. When she's not reading, she's writing something.
