About this item

"Christianity: A Complete Introduction" is designed to give you everything you need to succeed in your studies, all in one place. It covers the key themes and topics that you are expected to understand, outlining the basics in clear jargon-free English, and then providing added-value features like key ideas, quotations, and even lists of questions you might be asked in your seminar or exam. The book uses a structure that mirrors the way religious studies and Christianity are taught on many first year undergraduate and foundation degree courses. Each chapter covers a key introductory area, so by the end of the book you'll have a clear understanding of the essential tenets and key historical events. Starting with the central figure, Jesus Christ, it covers belief and practice, the Church and society, historical turning points and the inheritance of art, architecture and holy music, as well as the influence of modern theological figures.
