About the Author

Scott Keller

Scott Keller is a Senior Partner in the Southern California office of McKinsey & Company. He is the co-leader of the firm's global CEO and Board Excellence service line. He spends the vast majority of my time serving Fortune 100 CEOs and top teams in the areas of large scale performance transformations, culture change, top team effectiveness, CEO transitions, and leadership coaching. He is the co-founder and lead faculty member of McKinsey's Change Leaders Forum and Executive Transitions Master Class. Scott is the author of multiple books and numerous articles in the field of organizational and leadership effectiveness, hosts multiple round tables, and is a frequent guest lecturer at business schools in Europe and the United States. He holds an MBA and a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame and has worked as a manufacturing manager with Procter & Gamble and a photovoltaic engineer for the U.S. Department of Energy. Outside McKinsey, Scott is a cofounder of Digital Divide Data, an award-winning social enterprise that utilizes a sustainable IT service model to benefit some of the world's most disadvantaged people. He's also an avid traveler, having visited every country in the world.
