Karen Fisman is the author of An Adventure in Latkaland and Problems in Purimville. Her most recent book, Nonna's Hanukkah Surprise, was inspired by her own family life.
Somewhere in the distant past, Karen was an equities analyst and wrote lots of stuff for grownups. After having kids, however, she realized it was much more fun to write for children. And that's what she's been doing ever since.
Karen lives in Toronto with her husband, two kids and a shnoodle named Cocoa.
