About the Author
Don Easton
Don Easton worked as an undercover Mountie for twenty years. He lived in a world of lies, deception, treachery, and extreme violence ... including contracts on his own life. Easton found this world could not always be categorised in black and white. People who were presumed bad often had good qualities while others who were considered good often had a sinister side. At times, his cover was exposed by those he was supposed to trust. Easton's experiences exposed him to an underbelly of morality over that of justice. Hard choices often had to be made. He worked with informants who had committed horrific crimes, including murder, yet were in a position to provide information on people worse than themselves. Lines of right and wrong became blurred and at times he was targeted by both sides of the law. Easton's novels present a knowledge and style of writing that could only have been achieved by someone who has looked into the eyes of victims and murderers alike. They are clearly written from experience, but where the line of fiction and fact cross in his writing is only known to him.
