About the Author
Cynthia Kremsner's first home, was in an apartment building in Anaheim, CA., located directly across the street of the parking lot at Disneyland. After a few years and much growth, that apartment was later consumed by the ever-expanding theme park's parking lot. It was a bit of a reversal of paving paradise and putting up a parking lot. As if by osmosis, Cynthia believes that her love for storytelling through imagery and character may have been something in the water, or in the air of that first home.Some years, a lot of moves, a few pets, and three children later, Cynthia still has a love for storytelling through imagery and character. With a musical family, her daughter on viola and clarinet, her son on drums and keyboards, and her husband on keyboards . . . lest we forget the musical howls of her Basset Hounds, Cynthia is often surrounded with a jumbled up jubilee that inspires her work.She studied art and theater at Santa Rosa Junior Collge. Cynthia was a participant in the Nevada SCBWI Mentor Program, and honored with a Jackpot Grant from the Nevada Arts Council to help fund her participation in the 6 month program.
