Anne Broyles writes books and curricula for children and young adults. Her book, ARTURO AND THE NAVIDAD BIRDS, received an International Latino Book Award for Best Children's Picture Book-Bilingual. Other books have been named Notable Social Studies Trade Books for Young People, Bank Street College's Best Children's Books of the Year, and won other awards. She lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband, two cats and a dog named Clover.
