Alice Pantermüller

Alice Pantermüller was born in 1968 in Flensburg/Germany. After studying at Flensburg university to become a teacher, having worked in Scotland for a year as foreign language assistant and becoming a book saleswoman, she got her first son Jakob and then her second son Simon, before she focused on writing.In 2010 she won a writing competition with her dinosaur story "Bendix Brodersen" which she originally wrote for her two boys.In 2012 the first book of her "Lotta" series appeared in Germany and quickly became a huge success. The first "Lotta" movie was shown in German cinemas in 2019.Apart from her family Alice Pantermüller loves Iceland, monkeys and the Baltic Sea. She is still living and writing in her house somewhere in the woods of Germany.
