About the Author
Sabine Lippert
Born in 1967, right in the "summer of love" , I guess it was my fate to become a beader one day. As usual an artists way is never straight, so I had a career as a physician first, but crafting and needleworks have always been my passion. There is no better feeling than creating something beautiful with your own hands! Getting technical skills from my father, an engineer, it was my mother who infected me with her love to the decorative things in life. She showed me and my sister the first basics for knitting, crochet or embroidery and I remember us doing one crafting frenzy after the other! Some years ago I discovered my first quality beads in la local bead store at my hometown and I did nothing else then beading since then. One idea is creating the next in my mind, new bead shapes keep coming and so it never seems to end. In 2009 my first book was published in Germany "Das Perlenkochbuch", and now in 2012 the first book "Sabine Lippert's beaded fantasies" is published in the States. Since october 2011 I am a self employed bead-artist and made my passion become my profession. You find more of my beaded jewelry at www.Trytobead.com
