About the Author

Jen Swearington

Jen Swearington has made a creative living as an independent artist and fashion designer since 2003. She grew up in Indiana and holds fine art degrees from Pratt Institute and the Savannah College of Art and Design. Jennythreads, her designer line of handmade and hand printed apparel and accessories, is produced from start to finish in her light-filled studio in Asheville, NC and is carried by galleries and boutiques nationwide. When she's not in the studio, she's spending time with her husband Paul, trail running with her dogs Rosco and Sesame, or curled up with a library book and her cats Jasper and Nico. "Printing on Fabric" is her first book, which she also illustrated.
