Jacqueline Butler

JACQUELINE BUTLER is the owner, artist and Creative Director behind Petalsweet Cakes, based in San Diego, California. She is an award winning cake designer and sugar artist known for her wedding and celebration cakes featuring lush arrangements of modern, stylized sugar flowers created in a soft pastel color palette.
After a first career teaching and training in the non-profit sector, Jacqueline turned the creative hobby of baking into a business, and discovered the art of making sugar flowers. After years of study with some of the best sugar flower makers in the industry, and a lot of meticulous practice, Jacqueline eventually created her own signature style of sugar flowers and also began teaching classes for colleagues who were interested in learning the art form. Over time she developed easy to follow teaching methods, which have helped her students replicate beautiful flowers with great success. Today, Jacqueline dedicates most of her time teaching the delicate craft of flower-making in the States and in cities all over the world.
