After working as a designer in the fashion industry for seven years, in 2007 Wendy began teaching dressmaking and pattern cutting in Brighton, UK. By 2012, she had opened MIY Workshop in central Brighton to teach her own sewing and pattern cutting classes. In 2019 Wendy re-located back to her hometown of Sheffield in the foothills of the glorious Peak District.Wendy has a degree in Fashion Design, an MA in Design and is a qualified teacher.
