About the Author

Janine Marsh

Janine Marsh is an award winning travel writer and editor of the Good Life France Magazine. She was born in and lived in London all her life until one day she had an epiphany that turned into a dream which then turned into a whole new life...

This momentous event occurred when she went on a day trip to France to buy wine for her Dad and ended up buying an abandoned, bargain bucket farmhouse for less than a Hermès Birkin bag. It became a dream to renovate the hovel which had dirt floors and no real rooms and came with a random sheep in the garden. She longed to one day live in it and, to her surprise and thanks to a bit of blackmail, that dream came true sooner than she imagined.

She writes about life in France, her adventures and discovery of a whole new culture, numerous pets and travels around France on her blog www.thegoodlifefrance.com
