Boni Ashburn has lived in Connecticut, Ohio, Illinois and Colorado, but now lives in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where she manages a school public library. Her children are grown, but there are four of them. She also writes books for children and is the author of eight picture books, including Hush Little Dragon, I Had A Favorite Dress, and The Class.
