About the Author
As a movie producer, Jerry Davis has worked with a lot of big Hollywood stars: a woolly mammoth, a sloth, and a sabre-toothed tiger (ICE AGE) , a giant robot (IRON GIANT) more robots (ROBOTS) , chimps (SPACE CHIMPS) , a slug and a snail (EPIC) and even talking toys (TOY STORY) . He's also produced plays and musicals off Broadway and in regional theatres, and even worked on tv shows.
One day not that long ago, he hatched an idea for a picture book and got to work with his favorite collaborator, Katie Davis. Their first book together was Little Chicken's Big Day, published by Margaret K. McElderry Books, an imprint of Simon and Schuster. Now he gets to work with a new little star, Little Chicken. Their newest book together is Little Chicken's Big Christmas.
