About the Author

L.A. Jennings

L.A. Jennings earned her doctorate in Literary Studies from the University of Denver. In addition to her academic work, L.A. is the co-owner of Train.Fight.Win., a MMA gym located in downtown Denver, Colorado, with her husband Mike. L.A. is a former fighter who now focuses on coaching new fighters and specializes in training women to compete in grappling, kickboxing and MMA venues.
