About the Author

I love writing. Been writing for my own pleasure since 1969. This is my first comedic novel which I originally wrote in 2008. Kind of a fantasy come true given the current Presidential Election. As for me: I served as a Medic in the 82nd Airborne during the Korean War, attending NYU Graduate School, majoring in Political Science, drove to India from Europe with my first wife, Theodora to complete my PhD dissertation. I was recruited by the U. S. State Department and remained in New Delhi for 3 years. Declared persona non grata by the Indian Government - for what I don't know. I then returned returned to Manhattan, divorced and opened Siva Gallery, specializing in Indian antiques. While falling in and out of love, I worked as a private investigator, taught Indian philosophy at the State University of New York and drove a taxi in New York City. During an extended stay in an ashram in South Carolina, I fathered a son, Joseph. He and his mother moved to Sonoma California so I moved too, to be with him while he was growing up. In Sonoma, I worked as a bartender, then a maitre 'd, onto a sommelier, and eventually imported luxury Burgundy wines. At the same time I hosted a local nightly TV movie channel - "Watching Movies With Eugene." Now I am retired (what the hell, I am 81) and been battling metastatic prostate cancer for years. I live in Northern California with my fabulous wife, Renée, and our two Mexican rescue dogs: Ella B and Uly. I consider myself to be a very lucky man. I attribute my lucky to resilience and laughter - humor has goes a long way in creating an adventurous and worthwhile life for me. And hope this book give all who read it a laugh or two, or even three.
