About the Author
I am a contemporary painter who lives in a very long house on top of foggy Mount Kynoch in Queensland, Australia.
Happy colours are my thing and the finishing coat of shiny, gloss varnish is my favourite part of the art process.
Inspired by Matisse and Ken Done, my paintings are colourful and illustrative, often featuring children, flowers and birds. I recently completed six children's murals in the Toowoomba Hospital and another five detailed murals at Breastscreen Queensland.
As well as painting originals, I run Shiny Happy Art which includes very popular 'Paint Along' sessions which are perfect for beginners. I have recorded some of my most popular Paint Along subjects in my first book, 'Painting Party' which I hope you enjoy.
I also conduct group collaborative painting events which are perfect for both Professional Development or family fun and speak on the topic of small business marketing.
