Katherine Tyrrell is a writer and artist living in London. She has been sharing tips, reviews and resources for artists nearly every day for nine years on her top art blog "Making A Mark" (#3 art blog in UK, #6 in the world) ; in her websites and publications for artists and her articles for magazines.

She's passionate about drawing and sketching and the use of dry media for art. She has sketched all over the world and her "Travels with my Sketchbook" blog has been featured in "The Times" newspaper. Katherine is also a founder member of Urban Sketchers London.

"Sketching 365: Tips and Techniques to Build Your Confidence and Skills" ("Drawing 365" in the USA) is her first book.
