Denise Bosler

Denise Bosler is an award-winning graphic designer, illustrator, author and professor of communication design at Kutztown University. She is the principal of Bosler, a design firm that focuses on illustration for the licensing and surface design industry, print collateral, packaging, logos and brand identity. Denise is also the author of Mastering Type and Creative Anarchy, both from HOW Books. As a professor, she is known for her obsession with the proper treatment of type and is frequently heard admonishing her students when they fail to kern accurately. She has also been known to make a student start over when a concept goes missing. Denise's mantra is simple--kern well and design great.
