About the Author

John Stanko

John Stanko earned his Master of Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth in 2005, and is an assistant professor of graphic design at the University of South Florida Saint Petersburg with over 15 years of teaching experience. He has created hundreds of illustrations for the gaming industry. Some of his projects include Sony Entertainment's Legends of Norrath, Hasbro's Magic the Gathering, Star Wars Galaxies TCG, Lord of the Rings LCG, Star Wars LCG, Dungeons and Dragons 4e and World of Warcraft TCG. His work has been recognized at both Gen-Con and DragonCon and in 2008 he was nominated for a Chesley award. His work was accepted into the prestigious Spectrum 18, 19, 20: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art. He also created cover art for TOR, ImagineFX and Nightshade Publishing.
