About the Author

Jo Rooks

Jo was born in Wiltshire, UK and always knew she would follow a creative path through life. She studied Graphic Design and Illustration at Bath Spa University and won a highly commended MacMillian award for a children's book she had created. She continued to write and illustrate but after graduating she took her Graphic Design skills into the music industry by working for BMG and Sony Music. It wasn't until she had her own children that she began writing and illustrating again. She has two children's books which have been published by Magination Press. She loves to create lovable characters and write stories which parents will want to read with their children again and again. Her illustration style is packed with colour and she enjoys using watercolours and inks.
