When WBFD-TV?s newest anchor, Aspen Wicklow, misses her debut broadcast and ends up in jail, she?s assigned an unpleasant job -- find out whether midnight screams coming from local landmark Kirk House are an urban legend, or something far more sinister. While visiting the burned-out shell, Aspen encounters a young Goth girl known as Paper Cut. Later, Paper Cut admits to being an undercover cop and it?s her job is to find out who murdered a pregnant Goth girl and removed the near-term infant from her dead body. Connecting the dots between these victims and Kirk House leads Aspen into a life-and-death situation more frightening than anything she could imagine.
