About this item

Cain is haunted by the jealousy and bitterness from over a century of struggling for the favor shown to Abel, his twin brother. Over the years, Abel stole both their father Adam s affection and the respect of others. But after Abel steals the favor of the Almighty and the eyes of Cain s wife, Cain brutally beats Abel to death and throws his body in a river. When Cain begins hearing a voice in his mind and then the voice appears to him as a spirit with silver eyes, he wonders whether murdering Abel was the key to his freedom, or the genesis of a monster. As the family discovers Abel s murder, Cain flees from the City of the Almighty. The people go to the Temple to pray for Abel s resurrection, but find the Almighty s robe thrown across the throne, torn and covered in blood.
