About the Author

Courtney Whitmore left her full time job as a career counselor to launch Pizzazzerie.com (pronounced piz·zazze·rie [p??zaz ?r?]) in 2010 to share entertaining inspiration and ideas with her readers. Now a published cookbook author, she utilizes her talent in entertaining and food styling to share daily party inspiration with her readers. Growing up in the South, Courtney has always loved the art of presenting classic Southern foods with a modern twist and setting a tablescape with lots of pizzazz. She attended Vanderbilt University earning both a bachelors in Communications masters in Organizational Leadership. Her expertise has been seen in Better Homes & Gardens, HGTV.com, Ladies Home Journal, AOL's DIY Life, Access Hollywood, and MarthaStewart.com.She is the author of 5 books Push-Up Pops, Candy Making For Kids, Frostings, Pizzazzerie: Entertain in Style and her latest, The Southern Entertainer's Cookbook (Fall 2020) . When she's not creating for Pizzazzerie.com, Courtney styles and creates content for brands such as Target, Frito Lay, Lindt Chocolate, Pier 1, Pepperidge Farm, Bacardi, and more to connect consumers with their products in an entertaining setting. She is also a content creator for eBay, PARADE, The Huffington Post ForRent.com. She's a former contributor to eHow, Occasions Magazine, Nashville Lifestyles Magazine, Homes.com, and WSMV Nashville.She lives in Nashville, TN with her husband and daughter.
