About the Author

Lee Harper is an award winning picture book author and illustrator best known for his popular series of picture books Turkey Trouble, Turkey Trick or Treat, and Turkey Claus, written by Wendi Silvano. Books both written and illustrated by Mr. Harper include Snow! Snow! Snow!, Coyote, and The Emperor's Cool Clothes. He has also illustrated for Walter Dean Myers (Looking for The Easy Life) and Leslie Helakoski (Woolbur) . He is currently working on his second collaboration with Leslie Helakoski: Ready or Not, Woolbur Goes to School. In addition to writing and illustrating picture books, Lee loves to visit schools.
