About the Author
Very little is known about author/illustrator Rhode Montijo (believed to be pronounced Roe-dee Mone-tee-hoe) . His children's books have delighted children and sardines for many years. Some of his creations include CLOUD BOY (about a lonely cloud boy who creates the shapes in the clouds that we see) , THE HALLOWEEN KID (about a mysterious masked cowboy kid who defends Halloween) and most recently, THE GUMAZING GUM GIRL (about a gum-obsessed girl who accidently becomes a sticky superhero) . He has illustrated many other books.
