Paula Deen

PAULA DEEN, Culinary icon and queen of Southern cooking, is a self-made success story who learned the secrets of Southern cooking from her grandmother. She was born and raised in Albany, Georgia and later moved to Savannah, where she and her two sons, Bobby and Jamie, started the Bag Lady catering company. The business took off and five years later evolved into The Lady & Sons Restaurant, which is located in Savannah's historic district and specializes in Southern cooking. The restaurant remains one of the country's most popular regional restaurants and in 2014 a second restaurant, Paula Deen's Family Kitchen opened in Pigeon Forge, TN. In addition to her success on TV and with her restaurants, Deen is a two-time Emmy award winner and the author of 14 cookbooks that have sold more than 11 million copies. Paula publishes her own popular bimonthly magazine, Cooking with Paula Deen, and produces her own digital network, The Paula Deen Network, pauladeen.com. Paula is a regular guest on Evine Live, where she sells her books and food products.
